“Real estate is ingrained in me,” says Gary Nurenberg, whose grandfather and mother pioneered the real estate business in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn back in 1978. He learned so much from them growing up, that his passion for the industry came full circle. After 12 years of working on trading desks at the city’s best financial firms including Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns, Gary returned to the family business, real estate, over four years ago. He specializes in all of Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn, with knowledge of sales and rentals, residential and commercial, investment properties, complex negotiations, and all facets of the transaction process.
Armed with indispensable experience in finance and real estate, and a lifetime of NYC expertise, Gary brings his clients a finely-honed work ethic, incomparable analytical skills, and vast network of contacts who’ve entrusted him with major monetary commitments. While he playfully calls himself a “relentless Russian” who doesn’t give up until he’s gotten the best deal, he enjoys the softer side of deal-making as well. Gary is tenacious and detail-oriented, yet also a gregarious, charming people person who can strike up a conversation with anyone. His joy comes from providing a service that fulfills his clients’ dreams.
Originally from Sheepshead Bay, Gary has lived in Manhattan for over 15 years, calling Fidi, the Upper West Side and West Village home. He currently resides in Battery Park City raising his beautiful son. When not hard at work serving his clients, Gary is very involved with the Battery Park Chabad, plays a ton of golf, plus is a writer and panelist for GolfWeek Magazine.
